LWOB had the opportunity to do a test run of its RECORD IT! game during a March visit to LWOB’s Hartford offices by Dr. Jeanne d'Arc Mujawamariya, the Rwanda’s Minister of Gender and Family Promotion. The vision of the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion fulfills its role by facilitating the implementation of the National Gender Policy and Plan of Action to ensure effective gender mainstreaming and full participation of women in activities related to the socio-economic development of the nation. Minister Mujawamariya was warmly received at LWOB headquarters and had a strong positive response to the lessons and strategies behind the Record It! game.
